Now Hiring: Assistant Distribution Designer (Electric Utility)
We’re looking for an experienced
Assistant Distribution Designer
to support overhead and underground electric distribution projects. This is an onsite role.
Responsibilities
Design overhead and underground electric distribution layouts
Perform required engineering calculations and ensure NESC compliance
Collaborate with project teams, support permitting, and assist during construction
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field
(Bachelor’s degree in core Engineering disciplines is not permitted for this role)
3+ years of electric utility distribution design experience
Strong knowledge of electric distribution systems and construction methods
Proficiency with
CAD, GIS, and related design tools
Familiarity with
NESC
and industry standards
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
