Hybrid (mostly remote with occasional on-site meetings/events, approx. once per week) About the Role
Looking for a
Video Editor with strong character animation skills
to support the creation of engaging, story-driven video content. The role focuses on
animating human characters (patients)
to demonstrate real-life situations, primarily for educational and informational purposes. This is
not a traditional motion-graphics-only role . The ideal candidate has hands-on experience creating
digital cutout / puppet-style animations , where characters are built from separate parts and rigged to move naturally without frame-by-frame redrawing. Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into polished, professional video content Create
character-based animations featuring human figures (patients)
to illustrate short scenarios and situations Build and animate characters using
digital cutout/puppet animation techniques Rig characters with movable limbs and facial elements for natural motion Collaborate with creative, marketing, and content teams to understand storytelling goals Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Animation, Film, or a related field 4-5 years of professional experience
in video editing and animation Proven experience creating
character-based animations with human figures Strong understanding of:
Storytelling and visual pacing Character movement and expression Proficiency in
video editing tools
(Final Cut Pro or equivalent) Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Strong communication skills and openness to feedback Portfolio demonstrating
scenario-based animations with human characters Preferred / Nice to Have
Strong experience with
