Schedule:
Part-time, 24 hours per week
Typical schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, three days per week
Location:
Hybrid in Palo Alto, CA

We are hiring on behalf of a client for a part-time Video Editor to support the creation of high-quality video content and motion graphics. This role is ideal for an experienced editor with a strong storytelling eye and the ability to work independently while collaborating with creative stakeholders. The position is hybrid, with occasional onsite meetings in Palo Alto.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into polished, professional video content
Create motion graphics and animations aligned with project goals
Collaborate with creative teams to understand vision, scope, and requirements
Manage and organize media assets and project files
Maintain consistent quality, pacing, style, and brand alignment
Meet deadlines while maintaining high production standards
Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently
Support multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a video-related field (media production or equivalent)
4–5 years of professional experience in video editing and animation
Proficiency in Final Cut Pro (required)
Strong understanding of video editing principles, pacing, and storytelling
Experience creating animations and motion graphics
Excellent attention to detail, including color correction and audio synchronization
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Portfolio demonstrating a range of video styles and formats
Experience with After Effects or other animation software
Knowledge of sound design and audio editing
Hybrid role with onsite presence required on Thursdays as needed for meetings/events
