We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Sr. Analyst, Sales Planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, extensive experience in sales forecasting, and a solid understanding of machine learning models. As the Sr. Analyst, Sales Planning, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes and optimizing sales strategies.

Role & Responsibilities

Sales Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts for Burger King North America through the utilization of advanced analytics and machine learning models.

Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to enhance forecasting accuracy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights for refining sales forecasts.

Analytics And Data Modeling: Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to derive actionable insights from large datasets.

Implement machine learning models to enhance forecasting capabilities and optimize sales strategies.

Regularly assess and improve data models to adapt to changing market conditions.

Technical Proficiency: Possess a high level of proficiency in SQL coding for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

Possess a high level of proficiency using R or Python for data modeling.

Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to analytics and sales planning.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to align forecasting efforts with business objectives.

Provide insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the retail and/or food service industry, preferably with experience in quick-service restaurants (QSRs).

Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to inform sales planning strategies.

Qualifications And Skills: 3+ years of experience in analytics, with a focus on sales planning and forecasting.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics).

Proven track record of using machine learning models for sales forecasting.

Experience with tools and languages such as Python, R.

Proficient in SQL coding for data manipulation and analysis.

Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI; knowledge of Snowflake is a plus.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
