
Inside Sales Lead
The Inside Sales Lead is responsible for quoting (proposals), follow-up, contracting, and servicing prospective clients in matters related to the sales function with the goal of maintaining winning client business. The Lead is responsible for day-to-day contact with potential and existing clients for new sales, changes, quoting, and contracting activities. What You Will Do: Day-to-day contact with potential and existing clients for new sales, changes, quoting, and contracting activities. Handle proposal development activities (simple and complex) including screening client information for scope determination, proposal generation, and timely submittal of quote to the client. Receipt and review of all Applications and required contracting information. Completion of contract review to ensure the requirements are defined, any differences resolved, and that ABS QE is capable to provide service. Verification and entry of information into database for assigning project numbers. Resolve technical review bounces when related to quoting. Ongoing sales reporting for management. Participate in major proposal activities. Administer corporate master agreements. Sales lead and quote follow-up, as assigned. APEX superuser & trainer. Supervises Inside Sales team (preparation of renewal quote and changes at renewals. What You Will Need: Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent sales/customer service experience, preferably in a business or technical discipline. Two or more years of experience in inside sales is preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Good oral and written communication skills; excellent communication skills. Considerable attention to detail including a high degree of accuracy in data entry and interpretation. The ability and willingness to work in a team environment. Familiarity with database requirements and computer tools available to make use of such data. Good organizational, research & problem-solving skills. Can-do approach to tasks and conscientious towards client service. Ability to obtain working knowledge of the ABS Quality Evaluations Quality & Environmental Management System. Reporting Relationships: Reports to Director of Business Development and may have direct reports.
