Sales Coordinator
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tasks that assist the Sales Office and Leisure Sales Managers in alignment with the department's long term goals and objectives. Essential functions include providing excellent customer service to clients and their guests, maintaining visibility and integrity of the department, developing trusting relationships with accounts, supporting leisure sales initiatives, and assisting in the preparation for travel and tradeshows. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree preferred, two years' experience in customer service in a hotel environment, ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace, good communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently, ability to establish and master goals, ability to identify and assist in the development of accounts, ability to act independently with minimal or no supervision, basic computational ability, and computer skills including accounting programs, Microsoft Word, Excel and Delphi. Physical demands include sitting at a desk for up to 5 hours per day, walking and standing for the rest of the working day, ability to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally, and various other physical tasks. The pay scale for Sales Coordinator is $24.00 per hour.
