Job Title
To passionately promote MACU products and services to attendees at events associated with corporate partnerships and sporting events throughout the year. LOCATION Mountain America Center - In Office: 9800 S Monroe St Sandy, UT 84070 SCHEDULE Full Time To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully. Represents MACU and its products and services to new and existing members at weekday, weekend, holiday, or night sponsorship events (Aquarium, BYU, Hogle Zoo, Mountain America Expo Center, corporate events, etc.) Participates in event positions which include running the activity (money machine, spin wheel, football toss, soccer kick, etc.), handing out giveaways and promotional materials, encouraging participants to enter to win a prize (if applicable), hand out fliers promoting opening a new checking account or loan for a specific gift. Assesses, advises and assists attendees that have questions on our products or accounts. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Experience At least six months of similar or related experience Education High school diploma or equivalent Licenses, Certificates, Registrations n/a Computer/Office Equipment Skills Basic computer operating skills Managerial Responsibility Has no supervisory/managerial responsibilities Language Skills Must have the ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form. Bilingual preferred. Other Skills and Abilities Must be an outgoing, sales-oriented individual. Must be an enthusiastic, team player with positive attitude and strong social skills. Access to reliable transportation required. PHYSICAL ABILITIES / WORKING CONDITIONS Physical Demands Must be able to talk, hear, and stand consistently (up to 6 hours) Ability to walk, sit, and use hands to reach, handle, and feel Vision Requirements Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more) Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors) Peripheral vision (ability to see to the left or right while eyes are fixed on a given point) Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances) Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus) Weight Lifted or Force Exerted Ability to frequently lift-up to 30 pounds; and occasionally up to 50 pounds Environmental Occasional outdoor weather conditions Some days, nights, weekends and holidays Moderate noise (business office with computers and printers, light traffic) Loud noise occasionally (sporting events) ***This Job is not eligible to be performed in Colorado or Connecticut, either remotely or in-person.*** Mountain America Credit Union is an EEO/AA/ADA/Veterans employer.
