Description
Essential Function: Sets up and maintains new and existing accounts, including loan boarding, security deed/release recording and tracking, scanning of closed loan packages and setting up permanent files. Processes payoff checks to be disbursed from HELOC accounts upon funding. Processes payments on accounts, loan payoffs and adjustments. Records account data and disbursement of funds to investors. Receives hazard insurance declarations and insurance, PMI, and property tax bills. Disburses insurance premiums, PMI and property tax payments as scheduled. Assists with forced placed insurance and escrow disbursements as requested. Assures that all member files are complete and in compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies and investor guidelines. Responsible for auditing closed loan files for completeness and accuracy. Addresses and resolves errors or issues identified during the post-closing audit and keeps management informed of any loan that could impact the salability or compliance. Assists in clearing any items with investor or internal audits. Scans all trailing documents and ensures files are imaged and filed accordingly. Follows up on outstanding trailing documents. Reconciles all trailing documents reports with sub-servicer. Keeps members informed of credit union policies and procedures. Promptly and courteously addresses or escalates requests and issues, ensuring the credit union's professional reputation is upheld. Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems. Ensures the highest levels of service to internal team members and members with any post-closing matters. Has a strong bias for action, bold thinking, and the ability to manage the complexities brought about by rapid change. Ensures the highest levels of member loyalty in alignment with our purpose and values. Identifies efficiencies, participates in project implementations, makes recommendations to improve department processes.
