Position Overview

We're seeking a Senior Experience Designer to help shape the future of software development at Autodesk and our agentic AI platform. This is a pivotal role providing agentic and product design expertise across internal developer experiences at Autodesk.

Responsibilities

Design and refine agentic and product experiences for theinternal software development lifecycle

Lead cross-functional exploration, analysis, and problem-solving efforts, involving multiple complex systems and multiple stakeholders

Synthesize feedback and requirements, extend,andcreate net-new patterns and concepts, and advocate for customer-focused solutions

Conduct research and leverage data to guide decision-making

Have a thoroughunderstanding ofcustomer needs, technical capabilities, context, and businessobjectives

Minimum Qualifications

Accessible portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver best-in-class experiences

Effective communicator and adept at cross-functional collaboration

Solid understanding of human-centered practices and activities

Proficient in working with AI platforms, tools, and technologies such as ChatGPT, Alexa, Siri, Perplexity, Claude, Hugging Face, Cursor, Replit

Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Framer

Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

5+ years of experience in UX design, product design, orrelevant field

Preferred Qualifications

Have deep experience designing generative AI experiences

Stays up to date with trends and advancements in UX and AI

Experience working as part of a platform team or environment

Demonstrates a passion for UX and product design and a keen interest in emerging technologies

Is adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $94,000 and $137,500. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
