We have a fantastic opportunity to join our IT Service team as an IT Service Desk Analyst! This is a great role in which to begin a career in IT Support. This role is based from our Colchester office, and supports users nationwide with 1st and 2nd line IT support. Main duties of the job
As our new IT Service Desk Analyst, some of your duties will include:
Providing 1st and 2nd line support to users nationally — assisting those working in prisons, non-custodial services and central functions
Assisting users via phone and self-service tickets
Resolving a range of software issues, including Windows, SysmOne, and hardware issues such as network problems and printer installation
Escalating to 3rd line support as required
Ensuring customers are updated on their issue and providing a resolution as quickly as possible

Hours and salary
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, between 07:30 – 18:00, Monday–Saturday. Shifts are on a weekly rota to ensure core hours are covered. Salary: £27,972 per annum.
