
Overview
The human resource representative is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations. Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports. Assist with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. Acts as liaison to employees and managers. Responsibilities
Interacts with and supplies information to job applicants, employees, management, and a variety of companies. Submit the online applicant investigation requests and obtain new employee background checks and drug testing results. Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification. Submit online E-Verify investigation requests on all new hires. Create new employee personnel records and scan documents into appropriate folders. Assist in administration of the compensation program; processes performance appraisals and other payroll changes or corrections. Monitor employee eligibility for benefits plans. Conduct benefits enrollment for new employees. Review benefits with employees and process cancellations or changes. Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions. Update HRIS database records and process paperwork for new hires, terminations and other status changes. Maintain electronic personnel records; perform data entry of pertinent personnel information and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong preference for those offering prior experience in Human Resources and professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR. We are seeking a bilingual communicator with exceptional verbal and written skills who can balance a customer-service mindset with the utmost discretion and confidentiality. Success in this role requires a detail-oriented multitasker proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) who either possesses a foundational understanding of HR practices and employment laws or has a proactive willingness to learn.
