Overview Conrad Indianapolis is looking for a
Catering Sales Manager
to join the Catering and Events Team. This is an opportunity to grow your career within a Fortune 500 company and a sophisticated luxury brand. The hotel is a 23-story tower with 241 rooms, 15,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets: The Lounge, Capital Grille, and in-room dining. The role focuses on the local corporate and association markets, weddings, galas, and other social events, with both selling and servicing responsibilities.
To excel, candidates should have at least two years of experience in sales and event servicing, a strong understanding of event operations, and wedding experience is required.

Responsibilities
Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals.
Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person.
Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations and deliver on those expectations.
Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, processes, and operations.
Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints and disputes.
Selling and influencing both internal and external clients.
Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing issues and determining the best solution.
Ensure high-quality service by communicating, guiding, and coaching team members to understand guest needs.
Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.
Other duties as necessary based on business needs.
