This role helps expand automation revenue, supports strategic planning with market insight, and builds strong customer and partner relationships to ensure solutions align with company strategy, margin goals, and execution capabilities. Customer-focused, detail-oriented, results-driven, collaborative, strategic thinker, adaptable, communicative, problem solver, relationship-builder and self-motivated Responsibilities Deliver accurate and timely estimates for automation projects that align with customer needs and company margin goals. Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new automation business opportunities Support the execution of strategic plans by focusing sales efforts on priority markets and solutions Conduct market and competitive research to inform pricing, positioning, and solution development Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and vendors to foster long-term business growth Technical knowledge of automation systems and controls Strong estimating and cost analysis skills Business development and sales acumen Market research and competitive analysis Strategic thinking and planning Relationship management and customer service Effective communication and presentation skills Problem-solving and decision-making ability Collaboration and teamwork Time management and organizational skills How We Work: EOS + Continuous Improvement VHV operates on the

Physical Requirements & Work Environment This is an office-based position. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Travel: Approximately 50% of time spent traveling to client sites, active facilities, and partner locations. Ability to manage travel schedules independently. Work location varies from northern New Hampshire to northern Vermont. Office Work: Approximately 50% of time working in the office preparing estimates, proposals, reports, and coordinating internally. Client Interaction: Frequent in-person client meetings, site visits, and presentations requiring professional communication and relationship-building skills. Active Facilities: Must be able to access and work safely in active construction or manufacturing environments. Requires walking, standing, climbing ladders, and navigating uneven terrain. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Must comply with all safety protocols, including wearing PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, and high-visibility vests when on-site. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally, work in varying environmental conditions (temperature, noise, dust). Work Schedule: Flexibility to adjust work hours to meet client and project needs, including occasional early mornings or late evenings. Technology Use: Proficient with laptops, mobile devices, and software tools while on the road and in the office.
