Major Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the Transitions North America marketing strategy, including consumer and channel communications, to drive brand growth, market share, and marketing ROI.
Identify market and value‑chain growth opportunities and build integrated programs that drive both professional recommendation and consumer demand.
Oversee B2C and B2B marketing, channel activation, and agency partners to ensure high‑quality, on‑strategy, and on‑budget execution.
Manage and develop a high‑performing regional marketing team, ensuring delivery of business goals, KPIs, and talent development.
Build strong partnerships with lens manufacturers, labs, retailers, online retailers, buying groups, and managed vision care to support trade marketing, distribution, and retail activation.
Lead consumer and ECP insights work and translate findings into compelling concepts, campaigns, and communications.
Ensure alignment with global brand strategy and guidelines while adapting global campaigns for regional needs.
Drive professional relations, PR, education, tradeshows, events, influencer programs, and ECP engagement strategies.
Lead competitive intelligence and response planning in partnership with Sales, Global Marketing, and R&D.
Collaborate with Global Marketing on new product launches, global campaign development, brand architecture, trademarks, and co-branding.
Manage Transitions NA marketing budget, approvals, and contract processes in partnership with Finance and Legal.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
Proven marketing background of at least 10 years, with a minimum of 5 years in a management position
Experience with brand management (particularly within consumer product goods, pharmaceuticals, consumer-facing optical, consumer technology, or similar fields), consumer and/or professional marketing, multi-media communications and advertising, strategic planning and business/product cycle, PR, and market research
Ability to lead and influence the organization
Ability to interact with senior executive management internally and with major external partners
Strong financial and budget management skills
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be capable of functioning in a flexible and fluid environment to achieve sales/marketing goals of the Transitions organization
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including occasional weekends
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or related Master’s degree
Pay Range:180,458.40 - $237,721.80
