The Head of Department (HOD) National Manager, East KAM Sales is responsible for leading all operations in the East Region and expansion of air business. They will be responsible for helping grow the company\'s revenue streams and profit to pursue the mission of profitable growth for business sustainability. Compensation

$133,000-$151,000/Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection) Responsibilities

Responsible for establishing the Regions vision, mission and goals along with striving for operational excellent, process improvement, profitability and supporting growth with existing and new customers Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for their Region to achieve operational KPI\'s and revenue targets in order to expand market share. Align the Region\'s goals with overall FF objectives Responsible for the teams in the West Region to ensure customer demands and expectations are met regardless of functional and departmental boundaries. Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of freight forwarding services Continues to cultivate a customer-oriented culture Support and implement new business along with preparation of analysis and overall on-boarding plan Drive integration with business partners such as ocean carriers, truckers and additional 3rd parties Keeps up with industry standards, regulatory and KSox compliance Support AR, AP status and support when needed Help drive system enhancement to improve process and customer experience Monitor and support customer rate inquires and RFP\'s Elevate and coach staff to support career growth, operational performance, business expansion and the overall customer experience Management / People

Lead, coach, enforce, and empower direct reports to perform and achieve in line with company values and strategy, and department goals adhering to company SOP and policies Recommend and implement strategies to continually improve department performance Address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies Communicate pending work and/or unresolved problems to personnel Other duties as assigned Benefits

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean due to extremely high volume of communication with customers/vendors in Korea Required General understanding of the Supply Chain Management and the logistics industry Required Understanding of the full range of Freight Forwarding services, including movement scheduling, monitor and control services, cost optimization, and various industry specific requirements Required Ability to establish business plan and proceed new business development/projects Required Must be proficient with PC\'s Required Intermediate MS Excel, Power Point, Word and database management Required Education & Experience

Bachelor Degree Required Master\'s Degree Preferred 10 - 15 years of direct experience in Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, and/or Logistics Required 4 - 7 years of supervisory experience Required 10 -15 years of direct experience in Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, Logistics Preferred Physical Requirements

Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods Possibility of domestic travel - 10% Operating desk machines such as desktop, computers, laptop, printer, scanners, shredders, etc Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing Stand/walk Working and Environmental Conditions
