Overview

The Corporate Relations Manager will be responsible for developing and managing corporate partnerships and relationships to expand the organization's funding base and support services. The Corporate Relations Manager will also steward existing corporate partners, including Corporate Heroes. This position will be responsible for providing impactful educational, volunteer and in-kind engagement opportunities for both existing and new corporate partners. This position is also responsible for effectively and efficiently tracking companies as they progress through the requirements of becoming a Corporate Hero. Responsibilities

Manage the Corporate Heroes program and third-party fundraising events under supervision. Develop and promote strategic corporate giving campaigns, including researching, cultivating, and stewarding/engaging corporations whose giving priorities are in line with Genesis’ mission. Facilitate corporate sponsorship, volunteer opportunities, educational events, third party fundraising events and in-kind donation drives. Work diligently to increase the number of Corporate Heroes both in monetary amounts raised annually as well as a steady increase in number of new companies that become Corporate Heroes. Work closely with the Volunteer Manager and the In-Kind Donations Coordinator to provide meaningful and impactful opportunities for companies progressing along the Corporate Hero track. Support the fundraising efforts of Genesis Women's Shelter & Support signature events by securing corporate sponsorships and increasing the number of corporate partners who attend these events. Assist with identify funding opportunities by seeking out potential partners and strategically generating restricted and unrestricted contributions. Attend relevant corporate networking events to represent Genesis Women's Shelter & Support and promote partnership opportunities. Ensure that all donor data is input into Raiser’s Edge in a consistent and timely manner. Provide education/training to local companies and organizations regarding domestic violence awareness and how to get involved to support Genesis Women's Shelter & Support. Participate in select reporting and acknowledgment processes as needed to adequately recognize certain donors. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Business or another related field Minimum 1 year of experience in corporate relations, fundraising, or partnership development, preferably in a nonprofit setting Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both written and verbally. Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships effectively Excellent organizational and project management skills Previous experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar database preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook Experience in Canva a plus
