SMART Social Media & Brand Experience Manager The Social Media & Brand Experience Manager is responsible for managing and evolving SMART Cremation’s presence across digital platforms. This role oversees the development and execution of social media content and ensures a consistent, cohesive, and impactful brand experience across all digital touchpoints. As SMART continues to grow, the scope of the role may expand, requiring adaptability and the ability to support evolving business needs.

Work Hours:

To support collaboration with our California leadership team, this position follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time.

Responsibilities

Manage the social media calendar across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn

Write captions that reflect SMART’s voice and educate our audience.

Monitor trends and adapt them into on-brand content.

Engage with followers and foster community through comments and DMs.

Content Creation & Design

Design digital assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.

Produce short-form video content for social platforms.

Support occasional light print design needs (e.g., basic flyers, sell sheets, or event materials).

Maintain an organized content library for internal use.

Build content packs for advisors to use in follow-ups and outreach.

Translate common family questions into helpful micro-content.

Qualifications

3–5 years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, or brand marketing.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Canva and working familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

Ability to produce basic video content using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar applications.

Demonstrated expertise in managing and growing social media accounts on TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and LinkedIn, including creating platform-native content, leveraging trends, and analyzing performance metrics.

Proven track record of increasing engagement and follower growth across multiple platforms.

Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking budgets, performance, and reporting.

Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and collaborate through digital tools.

Portfolio of prior social media and content creation work required for candidate screening.

Compensation

$70,000 - $85,000/yr.
