Accounts Receivable Representative – Central Billing Office

The AR Representatives in the Central Billing Office play an active role in the revenue cycle and patient satisfaction. Our mission is to put patients first and support NYPPSO staff with education, training, and revenue-cycle excellence. Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the Central Billing Office, working closely with billing supervisors and specialists, practice managers, and others to ensure optimal revenue cycle efficiency and patient satisfaction. This position is vital to the hospital\'s financial operations and helps make a life-changing difference. Demonstrate strong communication skills and multi-tasking abilities, and apply knowledge of CMS and other insurance carrier guidelines, CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers. Experience with claim corrections and appeals is valued. Preferred Criteria
Working knowledge of EPIC 2 years of prior experience in revenue cycle operations Associates degree Bilingual (Spanish) Required Criteria
One year related experience High School Diploma or GED Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written Ability to demonstrate compassion and strong customer service skills Effective communication skills. Solid working knowledge of third party insurance payors Additional Information
