Overview
TRADE COMPLIANCE DUTY OPTIMIZATION MANAGER TCR4472
Trade Compliance Duty Optimization Manager will oversee the global duty spend and cost mitigation programs across all business units for a large multi-national, matrix company, while ensuring compliance with customs regulations. This is a hybrid position for candidates in the Charlotte, NC or Elmira, NY area.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and implement duty savings initiatives
Manage duty drawback claims with external partners from submission to recovery
Maintain detailed level reports and records to track duty savings performance
Evaluate duty savings opportunities through tariff engineering, sourcing, and valuation
Monitor changes in trade regulations to understand impact to duty spend or avoidance
Ability to communicate complex trade regulations to various levels of stakeholders
Work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions in ambiguous situations
Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations including HTS, Country of Origin, & valuation
Solid understanding of FTA, Duty Drawback, and other duty savings programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
Customs Broker’s License required
Bachelor’s Degree required
8+ years’ Trade Compliance experience
SAP GTS Experience preferred
