
Strategic Sales Executive – CRE & Construction Lending

Cync is a lending technology platform purpose-built for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Construction lending. Our platform supports lenders across the full lifecycle of CRE and construction loans, including origination, underwriting, construction draw management, inspections, servicing, analytics, and portfolio monitoring. Cync helps banks and lenders modernize complex CRE and construction workflows, improve risk visibility, and streamline operations across development, stabilization, and servicing phases.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Strategic Sales Executive to drive new customer acquisition with a sharp focus on CRE and Construction lending. This is a true hunter role responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing net-new banks and lenders with CRE and construction portfolios. You will sell into complex, regulated financial institutions and lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving credit, construction lending, operations, risk, and technology teams. Responsibilities
Own the full new-logo sales cycle for
CRE and Construction lending solutions , from prospecting through close. Identify and target banks, credit unions, and specialty lenders with active CRE and construction lending portfolios. Lead discovery conversations focused on CRE underwriting, construction draw management, inspections, collateral tracking, servicing, and portfolio risk. Engage senior executives, credit officers, construction lending leaders, and technology stakeholders. Position Cync as a
strategic platform
for modernizing CRE and construction lending operations—not point solutions. Manage complex sales cycles, including demos, evaluations, security reviews, procurement, and contracting. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Solutions teams to support technical discussions, demos, and POCs. Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of qualified CRE and construction lending opportunities. Accurately forecast deals and manage sales execution with discipline and urgency. Represent Cync at CRE and construction lending industry events and executive briefings. Qualifications
8–12+ years of enterprise sales experience selling fintech, banking software, or lending platforms. Proven track record of closing
net-new
deals with banks or regulated financial institutions. Strong domain expertise in
CRE and Construction lending workflows
is highly preferred. Experience selling into multi-stakeholder buying committees (credit, risk, ops, IT). Ability to articulate complex CRE and construction lending concepts to executive audiences. Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, with a true hunter mentality. Why Cync
