Overview

The Marketing Specialist plays an important role in the marketing department by engaging in a wide variety of activities related to marketing and communications with a goal of maximizing property marketing performance for 39+ communities. This role reports to the Director of Marketing. This position is on-site at our Lincoln, NE corporate office. Responsibilities

Digital Marketing: Create optimal digital footprints for our portfolio of properties including managing business listings, online reputation, directing and coaching onsite teams with social media, website updates, some SEO components, and more. Content: Create, produce, and manage property content including photos, videos, virtual tours, and other digital- and non-digital media. Identify content needs and initiate with internal and external vendors as appropriate. Design signs and graphics in partnership with the team graphic designer. Social Media: Manage the corporate social media pages including strategy, planning, production, and evaluation of content; conduct regular reporting and improve key performance measures of the corporate social presence. Communications: Research and respond to online reviews for all properties and incoming contacts to the corporate communications channels. Project and Task Management: Utilize project management and communications systems to manage daily projects and tasks for the properties and marketing team. Special projects may be assigned. Absorb and comply with laws/policies regarding Federal, State and Municipal Fair Housing Laws, and The Tenant Landlord Act. Qualifications

You have 3+ years experience in marketing or property management. Or a related field that translates well to our business. You are a jack of all trades. You are skilled in many of the areas listed above but most importantly are eager to learn. You are a balance between creative, technical, and analytical. Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, project management systems, graphic design, and social media is required. You are an excellent communicator and task organizer. You can balance priorities, projects, and tasks with ease and communicate with stakeholders in a supportive and professional manner. You are detail-oriented and can use project management systems well. You are motivated. You are motivated, a self-starter, and can work equally well independently and in a team dynamic. Other things

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Yardi, SEO/PPC, and other multifamily and marketing tools a plus but not required. Ability to travel less than 10%, primarily in the Lincoln and Omaha areas. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential function of this role. You have a high-school diploma or equivalent. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units or measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use effective communication skills including in person, phone, email and written. Ability to interpret and retain a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and electronic form. Current driver’s license with minimal violations is required. Current coworkers may be required to obtain additional licenses such as CPR. Life is Better Here
