Meet with prospective customers to explore and present digital product solutions in the K-12 market
Achieve and exceed sales revenue goals within assigned budgets
Partner with decision-makers in districts to present Cengage solutions that enhance student learning
Seek new growth opportunities to develop market share in the sales territory
Participate in networking opportunities, including conferences and industry functions
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of curriculum needs for K-12 teachers and librarians
Proven record of consistent sales and goal achievement performance
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues
Comfortable discussing instructional strategies and educational trends with educators and administrators
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record selling into K–12 schools or districts
Prior experience as an educator, librarian, instructional coach, or in curriculum development
Technology proficiency and ability to discuss online access and technology's impact on the classroom
Skilled in constructing a strong sales pipeline and validating leads
Aptitude for operating in a changing environment with innovative solutions
