Job Summary
The Sales Enablement Specialist - Sales Platforms supports the enablement, adoption, and optimization of all sales and marketing technology platforms. This role accelerates sales technology onboarding, training, and support, driving tool usage and maximizing ROI. The Specialist works closely with Sales, Marketing, IT, and Sales Enablement teams to translate business needs into actionable enablement requirements and ensure tools are integrated, governed, and aligned to go-to-market strategies.
Responsibilities
Executes onboarding, training, and ongoing support for sales and marketing technology platforms to increase seller productivity, boost tool usage, shorten ramp time, and maximize ROI.
Streamlines seller workflows by deploying platform solutions that reduce friction and free up time for selling.
Works with Sales, Marketing, Enablement, and IT to ensure tools and platforms are integrated, governed, and aligned to GTM priorities.
Translates sales process, sales methodology, and business needs into actionable platform enablement requirements in alignment with the strategic roadmap.
Supports KPIs such as seller productivity, tool adoption, cycle time reduction, and quota attainment through continuous feedback, coaching, and platform optimization.
Contributes to a scalable enablement framework that can be replicated across other business/IT partnerships.
Maintains process documentation, creates dashboards, reports, and workflows that provide meaningful insights for the sales team.
Non-essential Functions
Assists with onboarding and training new employee-owners within the sales enablement team.
Assists in company public relations efforts seeking out potential news releases, social media content, and other opportunities within our branch locations.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or other designate.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience required).
2+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or sales technology support
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and other sales platforms (CRM, enablement platforms, collaboration tools).
Salesforce Admin or Business Analyst certification preferred.
Knowledge of the electrical distribution industry including products and services preferred.
