Thompson Hine LLP, an AmLaw 200 firm consistently recognized for our Innovation, Inclusion, and collaborative culture, is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team in the following locations Cincinnati or Columbus office. Responsibilities
Preparation of Petitions – drafting supporting letters and identifying needed supporting documents. Research – determining Department of Labor and North American Industry Classification System classifications; researching prevailing wage for occupations and researching consulate procedures; monitor sites for any updates or changes to processing procedures. Coordination of PERM Process – managing the recruitment cycle for PERM sponsorships and developing PERM audit files. External contact with clients, government agencies and third parties. Review American Immigration Lawyers Association ("AILA") InfoNet for updates and changes to processing procedures. Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a four-year college degree and at least five years of experience supporting the immigration function (either internally for a company or with outside immigration counsel). Benefits and EEO
