Purpose of Role The Under Armour team is looking for a Lead, Video Content Creator/Editor. This visual storyteller will play an integral part on the communications team, charged with bringing the brand’s story to life through compelling, high-quality video content that reflects the passion, energy, authenticity and performance mindset of Under Armour. This individual will have a firm grasp on the brand voice and ensure that all content ladders up to the mission, vision, and values of the brand. They will be responsible for producing, creating and editing both internal and external content to help support key stakeholder needs and overall brand objectives.
This role owns the end-to-end video process—from concept through final delivery—creating content that inspires athletes, engages fans, and elevates the brand across digital, social, retail, and broadcast platforms.
The ideal candidate is both a creative storyteller and a hands-on maker, equally comfortable behind the camera, in the edit bay, and collaborating with internal teams to execute content that is timely, relevant, and culturally impactful.
Your Impact
Build, drive, and oversee internal communications strategy, and internal brand voice.
Proven experience leading and managing high performing teams, with a collaborative, solutions focused leadership style.
Highly organized and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, brand standards, and strict deadlines.
Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in fast paced, rapidly changing environments and shifting client demands.
Deep expertise across the full post production workflow, including editing, motion graphics, and sound design, with the ability to execute quick turn video projects.
Strong understanding of social media content formats, trends, and platform best practices.
Experience partnering closely with C suite executives and other high profile stakeholders.
Excellent writing skills and the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, engaging, and inspiring content.
Responsible for overseeing production equipment inventory, ensuring proper maintenance, handling, and operational readiness.
Responsive, efficient, and able to balance flexibility with assertiveness when managing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience or typically 12 years of relevant work experience without degree.
Strong ability to prioritize and provide counsel to internal partners.
Direct experience building brands.
Excellent verbal communicator and strong editor to create compelling messaging and narratives, (minus the corporate-speak).
You’re a strong writer and storyteller who can distill complex concepts, craft a compelling narrative, and build an emotional connection.
You are adaptable and humble, willing to take on projects big and small.
Possess top-notch interpersonal skills.
Experience working and editing within digital and print mediums.
Collaborative, solutions focused, organized, true to deadlines, helpful in attitude, and resilient in the face of ever-changing client demands.
Responsive and efficient - ability to organize and manage multiple projects to meet quality/brand standards & deadlines; be flexible but assertive.
Workplace Location
Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore HQ office.
Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

Base Compensation $102,036.80-$127,546.00 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
