Position Summary: Reporting to the Production Manager of Print & Copy Services, the Digital Print Technician’s duties include using digital print equipment to produce a variety of print products, fulfilling customer requests accurately and timely, and performing finishing duties. The technician will assist with monitoring and directing the work of student employees, provide information to customers, answer incoming calls when necessary, deliver printed materials as needed. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Attention to detail. Physical Demands
Lift up to 25 lbs. Frequently walk, bend, squat, kneel, and lift. Travel to other buildings when necessary. Driving as needed to perform job duties. Driving & Compliance

Produce Print Orders According to Parameters : Clarify details with the Production Manager, stay knowledgeable of equipment, prepare jobs for printing, monitor output quality, and perform finishing services as needed. Produce Dissertation Orders : Clarify order details with the Production Manager, monitor quality, assess supplies weekly, provide supply orders as needed. Monitor and Direct Student Staff : Assign duties, spot-check quality, assist with equipment use, ensure nightly closing, report problems to the Production Manager. Provide Excellent Customer Service : Answer phones, provide information, and back-up assistance in the Production Manager’s absence. Contact Information
