Overview

The Inside Sales Representative supports customers by quoting, order entry, follow-up, and account support while actively contributing to sales growth and margin management. This role is sales-driven, not just customer service. Accuracy, urgency, and follow-through are critical. Responsibilities

Handle inbound customer calls, emails, and walk-in requests Prepare accurate quotes including correct part numbers, specs, pricing, and lead times Enter orders correctly and confirm delivery expectations Follow up on open quotes, open orders, backorders, and customer requests Work with purchasing and vendors to source product and improve margins Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities Support outside sales reps with pricing, availability, and order status Maintain clean and accurate records in the ERP system Communicate proactively with customers when issues arise Build long-term customer relationships through reliability and responsiveness Qualifications

Base salary:

$45,000 - $55,000

(based on experience) Variable compensation opportunities 401(k) with profit sharing contributions
