We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to own the execution and integrity of our sales order lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Production, and Customer Service and is responsible for ensuring quotes, orders, pricing, and customer communication are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policy. This is not a sales role. The Sales Operations Manager does not carry a quota and is not responsible for closing business. Instead, this role ensures that sales are executed cleanly, efficiently, and consistently from quote to shipment. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation, review, and issuance of customer quotes Ensure accurate and timely entry of sales orders into the ERP system Manage order revisions, changes, and cancellations in accordance with approval policies Maintain order backlog accuracy and visibility Process Ownership & Controls

Own sales operations processes, workflows, and documentation Enforce pricing, credit, and payment term policies Serve as the escalation point for order-related issues and exceptions Partner with Finance on credit holds, pricing approvals, and billing questions Help monitor accounts receivables aging and coordinate collection efforts Customer & Rep Communication

Oversee order status, lead time, and shipment communications Act as the primary operational point of contact for manufacturer representatives Ensure consistent, professional communication with customers and reps Lead, train, and support Sales Operations Coordinators Set priorities, standards, and performance expectations Develop standardized tools, templates, and training materials Systems & Reporting

Own day-to-day sales operations use of the ERP system (e.g., NetSuite) Maintain customer, pricing, and order data accuracy Produce and analyze sales operations reports (backlog, cycle times, error rates) Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and data quality Qualifications

5+ years of experience in sales operations, order management, or customer operations in a manufacturing or distribution environment Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred) Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes, pricing controls, and credit terms Proven ability to lead people and/or cross-functional processes Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience

Distributor or manufacturer-rep sales models Multi-location or multi-division manufacturing environments Experience supporting pricing approval workflows and credit policies Advanced Excel or reporting experience What Success Looks Like
