Mid-Market Territory Account Manager
responsible for New Business and Current Business for all Forcepoint solutions within a specific geographical region.
Compensation and benefits: Forcepoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range and variable compensation for this role is 140,000.00 - 175,000.00 and represents the low and high end of compensation for this position. Actual salaries are determined by factors including location, experience, and performance. The range is one component of the total compensation package, which may include bonuses, paid time off, and region-specific benefits.
Location LOCATION: Remote Illinois
Responsibilities
Responsible for new account development through business-to-business sales of Forcepoint software licensing, appliances, and services to accounts.
Work with the Regional Vice President to develop and implement specific customer accounts and opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives.
Engage sales resources: SE, Channel, Solutions Sales teams and Executives on the development and implementation of customer account plans.
Manage and drive revenue through complex, multiple go-to-market strategies and execute complex sales processes.
Maintain and manage 150-300 prospect accounts and meet or exceed sales quota.
Interface to negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management.
Qualifications
University degree preferred and 2-5 years of sales experience or equivalent work experience.
Proven Cyber Security experience, including Cloud Security, Network Security, and ownership of accounts.
Previous experience with accounts sub 2000 employees.
A proven sales background with consistent achievement against quota.
Experience presenting to C-level / executive level contacts and working with Channel as well as direct business development.
Ability to partner with internal sales resources (sales specialists, sales engineers) and liaise with external partners at all levels.
Familiar with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies.
Structured, time-managed working style with good analytical and forecasting skills.
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Experience using CRM effectively for development, management, and closure of forecasted opportunities.
Required to have right to work in the applied location.
