As an Account Manager in the Minnesota and the Dakota's, you'll promote their innovative therapeutic delivery system to hospitals and clinics. Leverage your sales expertise, product knowledge and account management skills to build strong relationships within hospitals and targeted physicians, dieticians, GI, pediatrics, nursing, pharmacy directors, materials management and other support staff while meeting the unmet needs of these chronically ill patients.
Note: Candidates should ideally reside in Central Minnesota. Territory approx.10 targeted hospitals and associated out-patient clinics.
Responsibilities
Promote the innovative therapeutic delivery system to hospitals and clinics. Build strong relationships within hospitals and targeted physicians, dieticians, GI, pediatrics, nursing, pharmacy directors, materials management and other support staff. Meet the unmet needs of chronically ill patients. Territory includes approximately 10 targeted hospitals and associated outpatient clinics. Qualifications
3+ years of successful hospital sales/account management experience within pharmaceutical or nutritional science sales background with or without clinical expertise (Registered Dietitian etc.). CF or pediatric experience a plus. Gastroenterology highly desired but not necessary. Effective presentation and communication skills while proactively identifying customer and patient needs and adjust accordingly. Ability to build rapport and credibility with physicians and key decision makers demonstrated through disease state(s) and product knowledge while targeting key market segments (hospitals, IDN's, distributors, pharmacy and materials management departments etc.). Bachelor's degree required. Understanding of formulary or VAT approval process is ideal. Launch experience ideal. Candidate must pass all background, motor, drug screen investigations. Benefits
