V2X is seeking a technically adept Instructional Systems Designer to support instructional systems design and analysis efforts.
Responsibilities
Conduct analyses to identify and validate training requirements as identified in the Statement of Work (SOW) and document results of analyses.
Define and analyze learning objectives to refine learning outcomes.
Design and conduct analyses in support of Human Systems Integration (HSI) to include selecting methodology, designing instruments, collecting, and analyzing data; and reporting results.
Apply validated research to support learning decisions.
Design, develop, and implement instruction in a systematic manner. Provide input on selecting instructional media, materials, and equipment to meet learning objectives.
Plan and accomplish production of instructional materials.
Design, develop, and implement prototype and final courseware for interactive multi-media, computer-based, web-based, and distributed learning presentations.
Evaluate training development and training effectiveness using formative and summative evaluation techniques.
Use appropriate industry and Government standards and specifications.
Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) checks and reviews of course materials, reports, and other deliverables prior to delivery to the customer.
Provide Products/Documents/Reports as requested by the PM
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience
Senior level
BA/BS in any discipline
Experience
Candidate must have four or more years of experience in DoD training, preferably Navy training.
Other Requirements
Must have a Secret security clearance
Must be a US Citizen
Desired Qualifications
Experience in designing scenarios and/or simulations and have a firm grasp of immersion and engagement concepts
Adult learning instructional design and development
Expert in the use of Adobe Captivate software
Expert in the use of Microsoft products - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills
Good problem solving and organizational skills/techniques
Business Partner/Effective Communicator: English language skills to communicate with the customer
Strong communicator with clear written and oral communication
Customer service oriented, detail focused, proactive, multi-task capable
Software: Microsoft Office Suite experience as a Technical Writer using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
