Athena Medical Appeals Specialist (Remote) — Turn denied claims into paid claims — from home. What You’ll Do
Review denied medical claims and identify root‑cause issues Analyze EOBs/ERAs and complete Zero Balance reviews Write strong appeal letters and submit accurate rebills Escalate appeals when necessary and track outcomes What You Need
HS diploma/GED 1+ year experience in Medical Appeals / Denials / RCM Experience with Zero Balance claims + denial codes EMR/EHR experience (Epic, Athena, Cerner) Job Type & Location
Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
