Medical Appeals Specialist (Remote) — Turn denied claims into paid claims from home. Responsibilities
Review denied medical claims and identify root‑cause issues Analyze EOBs/ERAs and complete Zero Balance reviews Write strong appeal letters and submit accurate rebills Escalate appeals when necessary and track outcomes What You Need
HS diploma/GED 1+ year experience in Medical Appeals / Denials / RCM Experience with Zero Balance claims + denial codes EMR/EHR experience (Epic, Athena, Cerner) Job Type & Location
Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX Pay and Benefits
