Role:
Regional Sales Manager

About the role We are looking for a driven, ambitious, and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic and growing organization. You will help drive strategy and take a consultative approach to selling our solutions to public safety agencies. If you are forward-thinking, technically oriented, and capable of creating solutions for client challenges, you will thrive in this role.
You will be responsible for bringing on new business and expanding usage with existing customers. You will sell directly to public safety accounts and work with partners to do the same. You will articulate complex solutions, build and maintain Director-level relationships, and navigate multiple decision-makers to shape solutions that meet agency and stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities
Build long-term, strategic plans with internal partners to maximize client success and revenue; understand C-level initiatives and how Carbyne’s solutions map to those objectives
Engage clients, build trust, and enable adoption of Carbyne’s platform and services
Develop and maintain relationships with product users and key decision-makers to drive revenue growth
Ensure the voice of the customer is heard and represented
Develop and communicate strong value propositions and align value/ROI with client needs
Drive key account planning from inception to close and support peers in their initiatives
Oversee territory activities from prospecting to closing and coordinate with professional services when applicable
Provide timely and accurate business forecasting and monitor competitor activity
Requirements
At least 3 years of successful sales in software, services, platform integration, and/or network services (SaaS/cloud experience is a MUST)
Experience working with partner resellers
Experience managing large/strategic accounts and long sales cycles
Existing relationships with senior decision-makers in your territory
Understanding of PSAP and stakeholder agency technology is a plus but not required
Understanding of contact center technologies and modern challenges
Proven experience in managing/owning territory for sales or consulting engagements
Experience creating and executing long-term sales plans
Ability to clearly articulate complex solution offerings
Strong technical orientation
Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving approach
Strong attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and excellent communication skills
Ability to travel to customers as needed (up to 50% of the time)
