
Oakbrook Corporation is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee all daily operations at The Edge Apartments, a vibrant multifamily community in Madison, WI. This role is responsible for leading onsite staff, maintaining resident satisfaction, and ensuring strong operational performance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled in team leadership, customer service, and property operations. This is a hands-on management role where you will have direct influence over occupancy, leasing success, community presentation, and overall resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide timely and professional customer service to residents and staff Supervise, train, and lead on-site property staff Manage operating budgets, financial reporting, and invoice coding/approvals Oversee leasing activities, move-ins, move-outs, and occupancy goals Maintain positive resident, vendor, owner, and partner relationships Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations Coordinate rent collections and delinquency procedures Manage property inspections (internal, investor, HUD, state agency) Oversee unit turnover, improvements, and maintenance coordination Process income and asset verifications for move-ins and re-certifications Uphold Oakbrook values and company standards Minimum Qualifications
Residential property management experience (multifamily preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Supervisory experience Ability to perform physical property inspections (with or without accommodations) Experience with property management software High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing mixed-use or mid-size properties Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Proven record of meeting occupancy and compliance goals Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Why Oakbrook
