Stay Play Made Simple is excited to announce an opening for a
Business Development & Event Specialist
to join our team. This position will step into a key role previously held by our Part-Time Director of Sales and will work closely with the owner and team to support continued success. What this role includes: Assisting the owner with business development and partner relationships Supporting the team with managing hotel accommodations for groups such as weddings, sports teams/tournaments, reunions, and social events Managing key administrative responsibilities, including managing hotel details for events, maintaining client information, and supporting internal processes Attending industry conferences, networking events, wedding shows, and partner meetings throughout the year Availability for occasional evening or weekend attendance at networking events, wedding shows or conferences Role Details
Part-time to full-time, depending on experience and availability Mix of administrative, relationship-focused, and event-related work Some travel required for conferences and industry events Ideal Candidate
Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong communicator with a relationship-building mindset Comfortable representing the company at events and conferences Able to balance administrative work with external-facing responsibilities Experience in sales, hospitality, travel, or event planning is a plus Benefits Include
