Job Title : Property Manager, Multifamily Job Description Summary: Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring high level of service. Property Managers are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment. Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.

Providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.

Track and evaluate advertising, and all client traffic.

Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.

Driving revenues with a thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.

Leading by example. Instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.

Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.

Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.

Maintain residents' files in accordance with company's standards.

Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.

Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.

Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.

Competencies

Effective communication and customer service skills

Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills

General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills

Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting, improving the performance of each staff member

Supervise day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures are followed

Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met

Ability to manage a team

Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Real Estate License preferred.

3+ years of Property Management experience

3+ years of Management experience

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel.

The employee may need to stand and walk for extended periods, ascend/descend stairs, ladders, or step stools, and travel between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may be required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and may need to travel up to 15% of the time. The employee must be able to exert up to 25 pounds occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force to move objects.
