We are seeking a seasoned
Construction Superintendent
with extensive experience managing large commercial and municipal ground-up projects (over $20M). The ideal candidate will be proficient in
CMiC
(for project management, financials, and reporting) and
PlanGrid
(now part of Autodesk Construction Cloud—for field documentation, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and daily logs). You will lead on-site operations from mobilization through substantial completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the rigorous standards required for public-sector work. Key Responsibilities
Supervise all on-site construction activities for major municipal projects, coordinating trades, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and city/agency representatives Manage day-to-day field operations, enforce strict safety protocols in compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and project-specific requirements Maintain comprehensive project documentation using
CMiC
and
PlanGrid , including daily logs, RFIs, submittals, change orders, progress photos, and cost tracking Schedule and lead subcontractor coordination meetings; facilitate inspections with municipal building departments, engineers, and regulatory bodies Monitor project schedules, budgets, and cash flow; proactively identify risks, delays, or overruns and collaborate with the Project Manager to mitigate them Ensure all work complies with approved plans, specifications, building codes, and public contract requirements Foster strong, professional relationships with clients (municipal owners), architects, engineers, neighbors, and stakeholders Promote a family-oriented team culture on-site, emphasizing respect, accountability, and long-term commitment to excellence Qualifications
10+ years
of experience as a Construction Superintendent on large commercial/municipal projects (minimum $20M+ value preferred) Proven expertise in
CMiC
construction management software (daily use for logs, financial tracking, submittals, RFIs, etc.) Strong proficiency in
PlanGrid
(or Autodesk Construction Cloud equivalent) for field management, drawing markups, issue tracking, and documentation In-depth knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, scheduling, and relevant building codes (Florida Building Code experience a plus) Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex architectural, structural, and MEP drawings Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage diverse teams and resolve conflicts effectively Track record of successfully delivering public-sector projects on time and within budget Valid Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation Commitment to long-term employment with a family-like company culture Preferred Qualifications
Local experience in
Broward County
or South Florida municipal/public works projects OSHA 30-Hour Certification Familiarity with additional tools such as Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar Experience navigating public bidding processes, change orders, and government compliance requirements Why Join Us
