Overview
Role: Technical Writer – Enterprise & Technical Documentation
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)
Contract
Client: Virtusa / Google Fiber Inc.
Responsibilities
Create high-quality technical documentation including user guides, process documentation, API guides, FAQs, and release notes.
Work closely with engineers, BAs, and product teams to understand technical requirements and workflows.
Convert complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for business and technical users.
Ensure documentation of accuracy, consistency, and compliance with branding and style guidelines.
Edit, proofread, and review content to maintain high quality standards.
Maintain documentation, repositories and version control.
Support customer-facing and internal documentation needs.
Ensure timely delivery of documentation aligned with project milestones.
Qualifications
Strong experience in technical writing for software or enterprise platforms.
Excellent written English communication and editing skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience working with engineering teams and understanding technical architecture, APIs, and workflows.
Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence, Markdown, Google Docs, or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Experience with sourcing, procurement, or enterprise business applications is a plus.
