In this role, you’ll take the reins on
automation systems, custom equipment, and tooling , driving innovation across manufacturing operations while partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the
mechanical design
of advanced automation systems, equipment, and tooling, integrating mechanical and pneumatic systems
Create
high-level concepts, layouts, and specifications
for new automation and upgrades to existing equipment
Oversee
detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings , ensuring designs are accurate, buildable, and production-ready
Drive
prototype development , testing, and refinement to optimize reliability, efficiency, and cost
Manage
project timelines, workflows, and technical communication
across engineering and manufacturing teams
Perform design reviews, validate compliance, and implement improvements based on testing and production feedback
Provide
technical leadership and mentorship
to junior designers and project team members
Support
continuous improvement and lifecycle evolution
of equipment and automation platforms
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
3+ years
of mechanical design experience in manufacturing or automation environments
Strong 3D CAD expertise ( SolidWorks preferred ), including complex assemblies and machine design
Confidence leading projects independently and collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams
