Role Overview
The Sales & Service Porter supports daily dealership operations by assisting both the Sales and Service departments. This role is essential to maintaining vehicle flow, lot organization, and a professional customer experience. Key Responsibilities
Move vehicles between the lot, showroom, service drive, and parking areas
Assist Sales and Service teams with vehicle staging and delivery prep
Maintain clean, organized vehicle inventory and customer parking areas
Perform basic vehicle prep (fueling, light cleaning, removing protective materials)
Transport customers when needed (shuttles, pick-ups, or deliveries)
Assist with dealership opening and closing procedures
Monitor lot condition and report vehicle or safety issues
Support special events, deliveries, and inventory movements
Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to drive manual transmission preferred (but not required)
Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Comfortable standing, walking, and moving vehicles throughout the day
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings
No automotive experience required — training provided.
