The Landscape Architect/Designer must have a minimum of two years of drawing and design experience. A key responsibility for this position is ensuring the client's needs are being met and exceeded on a daily basis through continuous communication and cutting-edge design. Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to, seeing a project through all its design phases, site analysis, project estimating, preparing presentations, and creating construction drawings to include outdoor living spaces, and drafting with AutoCAD.
A successful Landscape Architect/Designer will show through customer satisfaction, ability to work with a team, great attitude, positive demeanor and hitting expected job deadlines.
What You'll Be Doing As a Landscape Architect/Designer
Creating unique designs for our Appleton and surrounding areas including our other location in Door County
Select proper plants and hardscape elements for the property/situation
Effectively communicate with clients and other team members
Work in collaboration with sales consultants to produce final designs
Measure properties, shoot grades, understand code requirements and prepare plans for customers in residential, commercial and municipal settings
Attend meetings and continuing education workshops
What you'll bring to the table as a Landscape Architect/Designer
Minimum of a two-year degree in horticulture-related field
Minimum of two years of Landscape Design experience and skills
Sound horticultural knowledge
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Dynascape and Sketchup
Passion for design and the profession
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to understand and effectively meet deadlines
