Executive Assistant

The objective of this role is to provide broad, front-office administrative and operational support to the NTIA Office of Policy Coordination and Management (OPCM). Unlike a dedicated principal-support Executive Assistant, this position supports the OPCM front office as a whole, requiring adaptability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple leaders, teams, and workflows. The role serves as a central coordination point for day-to-day administrative functions and contributes to the overall efficiency and continuity of OPCM operations. The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), located within the Department of Commerce is the Executive Branch agency that is principally responsible by law for advising the President on telecommunications and information policy issues. NTIA's programs and policymaking focus largely on expanding broadband Internet access and adoption in America, expanding the use of spectrum by all users, and ensuring that the Internet remains an engine for continued innovation and economic growth. These goals are critical to America's competitiveness in the 21st century global economy and to addressing many of the nation's most pressing needs, such as improving education, health care, and public safety. Responsibilities

Provide general executive and administrative support to the OPCM front office, supporting multiple leaders and staff rather than a single principal. Serve as a front-office coordination resource, assisting with scheduling, logistics, meeting coordination, and ad-hoc administrative needs across the office. Provide front desk coverage as needed, including greeting visitors, managing office communications, and routing inquiries appropriately. Coordinate calendars, meetings, and conference logistics for multiple stakeholders, ensuring awareness of scheduling conflicts and priorities. Assist with preparation, formatting, tracking, and distribution of documents, correspondence, and briefing materials using Microsoft Office and Adobe tools. Track action items, follow-ups, and requests across the OPCM front office to support task completion and accountability. Support onboarding logistics, office moves, space coordination, and facilities-related administrative tasks in coordination with government counterparts. Act as a liaison between OPCM leadership, internal NTIA staff, and external stakeholders as directed. Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, adhering to confidentiality and records-management requirements. Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, providing responsive support in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment. Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned to support overall OPCM mission execution. Qualifications

Approximately 8 or more years demonstrated experience providing executive-level administrative support, including calendar management, travel management, correspondence drafting, and document reviews. Prior experience providing administrative support to federal Political Appointees and/or members of the Senior Executive Service is a must. Work Location: On-site at the U.S. Department of Commerce Headquarters, Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB), Washington, D.C. No regularly scheduled telework; very limited ability to request situational telework for exigent circumstances. Hours of Operation: Under this task order, the Contractor is responsible for conducting business, Monday through Friday during normal business hours except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-directed facility closings. The Executive Assistant must have flexibility to adjust his/her schedule to accommodate the supported Executive's schedule/needs. Education

Bachelor's degree, with a preference in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. An additional 4 years of highly relevant work experience may be considered to substitute for lack of a bachelor's degree. Benefits and EEO
