Overview Lead all sales, catering, and events functions for a full-service hotel, driving revenue growth across group, leisure, and transient segments. This role is responsible for pricing strategy, budgeting, business development, and client relationships, while partnering with leadership to support overall financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop sales and events teams with clear goals and accountability.

Drive revenue through strategic pricing, forecasting, and business development.

Analyze market and performance data to identify growth opportunities.

Partner with operations, finance, and revenue management to align strategy and execution.

Oversee group and event business from contract through execution.

Negotiate rates, space, and service terms within established guidelines.

Monitor sales performance and report results to leadership.

Build and maintain strong client relationships while sourcing new business.

Ensure compliance with service and operational standards.

Support hiring, training, and performance management of team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

5+ years of sales experience in hospitality, events, or a related environment.

Prior leadership or management experience required.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and business development skills.

Proven ability to interpret data and drive revenue-focused decisions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
