Salary - $100,000 to $125,000 Aggressive Commission Program - 1.5% of Sales! Health, Dental, & Vision PTO Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall success of the Sales and Marketing team to maximize total revenue and ensuring sales goals are met and exceeded Established client base and cultivate relationships, building business, and providing a stable and positive work environment for the team Spend a significant amount of time out of the hotel surveying market and comp set/neighboring hotels, researching new clients/opportunities, and knowing the market and its environment Observe local trends in the market Conduct sales calls, promote the hotel, and review competition reader boards to develop leads Supporting and Developing the Sales Managers Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of Sales experience Minimum 3 years of Management experience Must currently be working for a Marriott brand that uses CI/TY Experience in Budget Preparation, Forecasting, Revenue Generation, Analytics, Coaching, and management of Sales Teams Any combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be considered or other sales experience Past hotel Director of Sales experience is a plus 4-year College Degree or Equivalent experience preferred Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meet client needs, and resolve complaints Ability to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections Detail-oriented
