Overview
We’re looking for a Fractional CTO to provide senior-level technical leadership, architecture oversight, and strategic guidance during our growth phase. Engineering Manager to join a fast-growing real estate technology startup building a platform to manage recurring home care services in high-value property markets more effectively. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of hands-on engineering, systems thinking, and people leadership. You’ll split your time roughly 50/50 between coding and leadership, helping shape both the product and the engineering organization as we scale. Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months Required Skills & Experience
Own and evolve the company’s technical vision and roadmap Guide architecture decisions across frontend, infrastructure, and tooling Advise on AI agents, automation, and platform scalability Support and mentor engineering leadership Evaluate and oversee third-party vendors and production houses Partner with founders on technical strategy, hiring, and risk management Provide pragmatic guidance rather than heavy bureaucracy Desired Skills & Experience
Previous CTO, VP Engineering, or senior technical leadership experience Strong familiarity with modern TypeScript/React ecosystems Experience scaling multi-product platforms and distributed teams Comfortable working asynchronously with periodic live collaboration Startup-savvy and outcome-oriented
