A NAPA Counter Sales associate is the face of the retail store and the go-to person for customers in-store seeking automotive parts and needs. You should have a background and knowledge of automotive parts. Responsibilities
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members in answering customer questions Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who enters the NAPA Store Maintain customer focus and high energy in a fast-paced store Welcome retail customers and engage to deliver a positive shopping experience Operate technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system Qualifications
Valid Driver's License Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn all things auto parts High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Enjoy fast-paced retail environments Strong listening skills and empathy for customers Preferred (not required)
Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership Experience in a parts store, auction, retail, auto body/collision Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems Customer-centric attitude ASE Certifications What’s in it for you
