Responsibilities This is a full-time, on-site role for a Collections Specialist located in Franklin, MI. The Collections Specialist will focus on managing and collecting outstanding balances efficiently while maintaining professional communication with clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing accounts receivable reports, contacting customers via phone or email, negotiating payment arrangements, and accurately documenting collection attempts. The role also contributes to ensuring timely cash flow and supports the finance team in resolving billing or payment discrepancies.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Debt Collection and Cash Collection techniques

Strong communication and Customer Service skills

Knowledge of Finance principles related to accounts receivable and payment processing

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines

Problem-solving skills to address payment discrepancies effectively

Familiarity with financial software systems is a plus

High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus
