Real Estate Paralegal / Closer
who will provide closing and title services for both residential and commercial transactions under the supervision of Managing Attorney. Role also includes general law firm assistant duties.
Significant independence and flexibility offered.
Retirement contribution offered after trial period. Paid holidays and PTO to be discussed.
WORK FROM HOME offered with need to travel to office or client site on average 5-6 days per month.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the real estate transaction process from contract through closing and disbursements.
Maintain professional relationship with clients, lenders, vendors, and other contacts.
Review contract, title commitment, and lender instructions. Examine and clear title requirements.
Prepare Closing Disclosures and HUD-1 Settlement Statements and balancing with lenders.
Drafting necessary closing documents and perform monthly reconciliations of escrow account.
A flexible, can-do attitude! We are seeking someone who can pivot as needed and will share new ideas to help us refine our process as our company grows.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone and email etiquette.
Attention to detail, professionalism, organized and ability to prioritize.
General law firm assistant duties in addition to real estate paralegal tasks.
Closing software experience is a plus.Firm currently uses Qualia.
Commercial real estate experience is a plus. Notary Public required.
Strong computer skills required. Outside the box mentality preferred.
