
Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and renewing a portfolio of policies, ensuring profitable growth and retention in alignment with company strategy. This role applies commercial underwriting principles to assess risk, maintain portfolio profitability, and drive operational efficiency. The Account Manager will enhance service quality, support customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
Responsibilities
Customer Retention & Servicing:
Deliver high-quality customer service to drive retention and strengthen client relationships. Perform proactive and reactive servicing tasks aligned with the Group\'s Customer Service (CS) model. Act as a second-level expert for escalated servicing tasks, including policy wording clarifications and claims resolution. Collaborate with external brokers and internal teams (Risk, Claims, Policy Administration) to ensure alignment and support business objectives.
Renewal Management & Commercial Underwriting:
Lead the execution of the policy renewal journey, including preparing renewal quotes and restructuring policies in accordance with Group Commercial Rules and Commercial Underwriting guidelines. Engage with customers in the renewal process, including price negotiation and collecting key updates.
Risk & Compliance Management:
Collaborate with Credit and Commercial Underwriting (CUW) teams on high-risk policy management, ensuring seamless execution of recommendations and effective customer communication. Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory standards.
Account Management & Client Engagement:
Implement account management plans based on the target service model and achieve business targets related to retention, pricing, and compliance through effective account management and customer engagement strategies.
Required Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor\'s degree in a related field.
2-4 years of experience in account management, underwriting, or a related sales/service environment.
Knowledge of the credit insurance market, including brokers and competitors.
Strong ability to manage a high volume of clients while maintaining strong relationships.
Problem-solving skills with a strategic, adaptable approach to client and operational challenges.
Basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and enthusiasm for learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes.
Compensation Total Compensation Range: $74,455 - $110,182. Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary ranges are only one component of our total compensation package.
